Summer Internship Project
A project that was carried out during the Summer Internship at Sundsvalls kommun during the summer of 2022. The aim of the project was to create a future vision and user interface for evening and night nurses working within the municipality of Sundsvall.

The target image was to produce a vision of a future situation for evening and night nurses in Sundsvall municipality, exemplified with prototypes and use cases based on the employee's perspective. Evening and night nurses who work within the municipality of Sundsvall work in a mobile operation where the employee moves around a lot and has an ongoing need for access to documentation and to be able to document. Today, they have many interfaces to keep track of in order to make everyday life work, such as binders and various computer systems.
The project started with a phase where my colleague and I identified and defined today's problem picture for evening and night nurses based on interviews and observations before idea generation. We created different personas and use cases before various iterations of prototyping began. Prototypes were tested and evaluated together with evening and night nurses to ensure a user-friendly interface.
In order to produce an aesthetic and uniform graphic design, Sundsvall municipality's graphic profile was used in fonts, colors, and buttons.
The final result is a Hi-Fi prototype of an application with the aim of creating a safe and efficient working environment where evening and night nurses can make safe decisions both in place and remotely. The application enables this by gathering all information on a platform and by new ways of communicating with its employees.
